PM: Russia to extend beneficial car loans on people with disabilities

MOSCOW, Nov 2 (PRIME) -- The Russian government will extend the program of beneficial car loans to cover people with disabilities, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Thursday.

"People with disabilities will be able to use the beneficial offer as well. The discount will rise to 35% in case of Russia-made electric car purchase with borrowed money. This means that the state will refund the buyer up to 925,000 rubles," Mishustin said.

Budget spending on support of the local carmakers is planned at about 30 billion rubles in the next three years, he said, adding that up to 25% discounts are available under the program.
